Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand. The Pleasant Grove Joint Unified School District Food Services department is dedicated to students' health, well-being, and their ability to learn.
Food Services provides breakfast and lunch for all students who want to participate. All meals meet USDA dietary guidelines and are sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and funded through federal and state programs.
SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM
California's Universal Meals Program allows every PG student to receive, one breakfast and one lunch every school day in the 2024-2025 school year, at no cost. Your student is already set up to receive these meals.
Schools are eligible for additional funding and grant opportunities based on the number of students who qualify for free and reduced price meals. Your help with this is important.
We are asking all parents to complete Meal Applications. This application is not required in to order receive daily meals at no cost. However, if your household participates in the Free and Reduced Price Meal Program it supports the school.

To file a program discrimination complaint, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online at How to File a Program Discrimination Complaint and at any USDA office or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992.
